Health & Safety

New Zealand Build Group, the guiding principle is safety first, quality always

At New Zealand Build Group we prioritise health and safety above all else. We are committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for all workers and members of the public.

We take the approach of Engagement, Education and Enforcement

Engagement covers pre-start and toolbox meetings, as well as having an open-door policy where workers can communicate on any H&S matter at any time.  We promote engagement through the workforce in which health and safety is at the forefront.

Education of trade workforce in the area of Health and Safety building knowledge on how to recognise risks and how to mitigate those risks for the work they conduct.

Site Specific Safe Plans (SSSP) are completed for all the work we undertake, and detailed task analysis (TA) / Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) are compiled to ensure we have identified and mitigated all risks associated with the work to be conducted.

Enforcement of regulations, legislation and our internal H&S policy is necessary for an effective and safe workplace.  Our staff, from Supervisors to Managers to H&S staff consistently enforce safe working practices.

New Zealand Build Group, is SiteWise and Prequal accredited and all employees are inducted with SiteSafe Passports.
